In dire need of help!

Hi,
I have looked on the postings on the 20534 Error in database DLL but to no avail.
I have a couple of Crystal reports All using the same Access2000 database (password removed). Some of the reports work fine but the one group of reports, that all use the same query, does not work from my VB6 interface. The query runs fine from Access and even from Crystal itself??? but why would these specific reports give me that error from VB?
I use DAO 3.6 and did use Sysdb32 to find the System.mdw file located in user\Application Data\Microsoft\Access in order to set the Registry but to also no avail.

Please any advice would be welcome...
