Demo Limitations
I have noticed that the data generated in a datamatrix bar code using Morovia DataMatrix Font and Encoder 5d emo version is scrambled. Is this intentional in the demo version? I see the same result in both the Crystal Reports functionality and the standalone data matrix generator. If this scrambling is intentional the company I represent will purchase the product.
The string I am trying to encode is
‘123456789ABCDEFG-TEST s/n 123 DXMO31389Z 1 2’
And when I scan the data matrix bar code that is generated I get
‘12345676566676869707145846983 s/n 123 DXMO31389Z 1 2 DEMO’
I expected the “DEMO” at the end but don’t see anything on your website that says anything else is altered.

Re: Demo Limitations
The trial version adds " DEMO" at the end of data encoded. It does not modify other part of the data.
I suspect that you used a software decoder such as ZXing to read the barcode. Those software decoders are not standard compliant and may misread. Use a 2D scanner to read the barcode.
I created the barcode with trial version and the scanner reported correctly.

Re: Demo Limitations
Thank you, I was scanning with my smart phone. I tried another person's phone using a different app and the scrambling was gone. So much for the free app!
