DataMatrix Encoding
hi guys.
since this forum is the only place for discussing 2D symbology that I found in internet, I post some questions here in hope that someone may give instructions generously.
I am learning to encode Datamatrix. The document (ISO/IEC 16022:2000(E)) is tooooo concise. There are some questions that really confuse me. For example, in 6.2.9 (Base 256 encodation), it is said that "The 255-state pattern randomizing algorithm is applied to each Base 256 sequence within the encoded data". And it is also said that position of the codewords are applied for randomizing. BUT, from which number the position starts, 1 or 0? And from where, the first encoded data or the "field of length". Bcz, I suppose that the "field length" of Base 256 encodation is also "within the encoded data". Should it be randomized too?
I am really tired for such kind of things.

Re: DataMatrix Encoding
If you are really tired, why not just buy our software and let us do it for you?
The section 6.2.9 states very clear - it starts after ... and ends at the ... read again you will understand.

Re: DataMatrix Encoding
Thanks. I read it again and again. And now I almost fully understand it.
I do wish my boss by your software. But he wants everything under his control.
